Master of Science in Nursing
The purpose of the Master of Science in Nursing for Nurse Administrators/Educators is to facilitate career preparation in a Christian liberal arts setting at the graduate level of nursing, enabling nurses to develop skills for nursing education or administration. The MSN graduate is expected to exhibit nursing judgment, along with facilitating effective decision making and communication, that promotes excellence in holistic patient/family-centered care in academic, administrative, and/or clinical settings. The MSN graduate creates evidence-based practice/research, integrates informatics to support quality improvement, and exemplifies nursing behaviors of leadership and professionalism. The MSN graduate has a foundation for doctoral education in nursing.
The Master of Science in Nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
The Master of Science in Nursing program prepares the experienced nurse for roles in nursing education or nursing administration. The MSN is the foundation for doctoral education in nursing.
